New Research Shows:
Chiropractic Care for Children is Safe and Effective The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s (ICPA) ground breaking study, The Safety and Effectiveness of Pediatric Chiropractic: A Survey of Chiropractors and Parents in a Practice-Based Research Network, was published this month in the prestigious, biomedical journal, Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing. The objective of this study was to describe the practice of pediatric chiropractic, including its safety and effectiveness.

The results of the study determined that the indicated primary reason for chiropractic care of children was “wellness care.” The most common reasons for parents seeking symptom relief care were muscles conditions, ear, nose, throat, respiratory and digestive disorders. Out of 577 children, doctors reported only 3 adverse events. Out of 239 children, parents reported only two adverse events. These events were minor discomfort after the adjustment and were readily resolved with continued adjustments. All children remained under chiropractic care. Both parents and doctors indicated a high rate of improvement with respect to the children’s presenting complaints. In addition to these improvements, respondents reported better sleeping patterns, improvements in behavior and , improved immune system function while under chiropractic care.

Dr. Joel Alcantara, ICPA Research Director and presenting author said, “ this paper shows the preliminary results of the ICPA’s Children’s PBRN – Phase One. Phase two is well under way and we have initiated similar research pertinent to pregnancy. We are pleased that a major CAM Journal respects the importance of chiropractic care for children and we foresee greater collaboration with the CAM community on the importance of chiropractic care for children.”

• The length of your appointment will be dependent on the severity of your case and the amount of time required.
• Family Member means Mother, Father and their dependent children.
• These reductions are in place in order that we may be able to assist families in receiving care. Should you or any member of your family be involved in a personal injury case, or have an injury at work, that member fee will become our full and regular fee.
• 1st family member is always the one who needs the most consistent care.

Dr. Mulder takes a special interest in working with children with special needs and finds great joy in assisting Mothers to have happy and healthy pregnancies, deliveries, and families. He has also dealt with many sports related ailments and has had good success in restoring athletes to full function. He takes a balanced approach to health knowing that each person is individual and no one answer will fix each persons ailments.

Dr. Mulder is married to Kristal Hatch who grew up in Joseph City, Arizona. Together they have, perhaps three of the most beautiful children in the world. He loves to spend time with his family and in the great outdoors. He has lived in eight different states but claims Arizona as home.

My husband had shoulder pain for some time (probably due to shooting his bow too much). Dr. Mulder has been working with him for only a couple of weeks, and my husband has seen huge improvements and soon enough will be back to shooting the bow, and just in time for archery season!

I myself have been a patient for about 9 months, and the good Doc has been able to help me with everything from TMJ, popping hips, knee pain, and much more.
